Letter From Our Chairperson, Mr. Joe Davis

Dear Family Member,

Happy New Year and I hope that this year will be a prosperous one.

As your newly elected Chairperson of Redd Family Reunion, I want to express my gratitude to the outgoing Chairperson, Cousin J. Andrew Redd for his relentless effort and dedication for spear heading the bringing together of our wonderful family. Not to forget, to all the officers who are still part of the new team, I say thank you. A special acknowledgment to Zakia Redd our former secretary who retired at an early age: you did a wonderful job during those many years. To all of our chairpersons of the various states thank you for the role you have played to make every gathering a success.

It is incumbent upon each of us, both young and not so young to make the Redd Family Organization the best it can be. Remember we are all ambassadors, therefore whatever we do individually or collectively, we still represent the Redd Family.

I am sure you know by now that the North Carolina Chapter will be hosting the 2010 Reunion. We do not promise to match or even out- do the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Chapters but we certainly will do our best.

Please call and encourage all members to attend the 2010 Reunion because the more we are the better it will be.
